Sapphire United Systems didn't start in a boardroom or a Silicon Valley garage. It started at a kitchen table in Idaho, where a loan officer was trying to figure out how to get more loans without working 80-hour weeks.
In 2015, Andrew Marquez was a brand-new loan officer doing what every brand-new loan officer does: cold calling, door knocking, buying Zillow leads, and hoping something would stick. He was working harder than anyone in his office and closing fewer loans than people who'd been at it for a decade.
The problem wasn't effort. The problem was that effort without a system is just motion. You make 100 calls, get 3 callbacks, close 1 loan, and start the whole thing over again on Monday. There was no compounding. No leverage. No way to make yesterday's work count toward tomorrow's pipeline.
So Michael did something most loan officers don't do: he stopped and built a system.
He taught himself Google Ads. Built landing pages. Wired up SMS automation and email follow-up sequences. Created a lead pipeline that worked while he was in closings. Within months, his production doubled. Then tripled.
By 2017, other loan officers started noticing. They'd see his numbers and ask, "What are you doing differently?" The answer was always the same: a system that executes whether you're busy or not.
In 2018, Michael made a decision that changed everything. He started helping other LOs build the same systems he'd built for himself. Not as a hobby. As a mission.
Because here's what he kept seeing: talented loan officers — people who were great at building relationships, great at structuring loans, great at helping families buy homes — were drowning in the same execution gap he'd fought through. They knew they should be marketing. They knew they should be following up. They just didn't have time, because they were too busy closing loans.
And when they tried to solve it with technology? They'd sign up for a CRM, stare at a blank dashboard, watch three tutorials that were built for dentists, and cancel three months later. The tools existed. The mortgage-specific implementation didn't.
That's what Sapphire United Systems was built to fix. Not another tool. A complete marketing execution system built specifically for how loan officers actually work — by someone who'd been one.
Today, Sapphire United Systems serves over 2,500 loan officers and teams across the country. We've sent more than 50 million emails and texts on behalf of our clients. Our team has grown from Michael building at his kitchen table to a dedicated group of operators who live and breathe mortgage marketing every single day.
But the mission hasn't changed: close the execution gap for loan officers. Build the system so they don't have to. Run it so they can focus on what they're actually great at — closing loans and building relationships.

Real reviews from real loan officers who use the platform daily
We're not a 200-person SaaS company. We're a tight group of operators who know mortgage, know marketing, and know what it takes to actually make systems work for loan officers.
A veteran in the mortgage space, Andrew built Sapphire United Systems to bridge the gap between complex technology and everyday loan production. With a focus on high-level strategy and system architecture, he ensures that every tool we build serves one purpose: making the loan officer’s life easier. Andrew still remains hands-on with product development and client strategy, ensuring the mission of Sapphire United Systems never drifts from its core purpose.
Keeps the business running while everyone else is building. Manages client relationships, billing, and the day-to-day operations that make sure nothing falls through the cracks internally — so the team can focus on making sure nothing falls through yours.
Your first line of support and the person who knows the platform inside and out. Nick handles onboarding, troubleshooting, and the hands-on fulfillment work that turns your setup from "configured" to "actually working for your business."
Helps loan officers and teams figure out which plan fits their business. No pressure, no pitch decks — just an honest conversation about where you are, where you want to go, and whether Sapphire United Systems is the right fit to get you there.
Whether you want to learn and build yourself, or have everything done for you — we've built a path for both.
Many of our clients start in the HL4MP community, realize they'd rather have it done for them, and upgrade to Sapphire United Systems. Others use both: community for learning, Sapphire for execution. There's no wrong path.
We've originated loans, run marketing for LOs, and built systems from scratch. When you call us with a problem, we've probably already solved it for ourselves.
We'd rather have 10 features that run flawlessly than 50 that sit in a menu unused. If it doesn't actually execute for our clients, we won't ship it.
We don't serve dentists, gyms, or agencies. Every workflow, template, and automation is built for mortgage professionals. That focus is our unfair advantage.
We'll tell you if something won't work for your situation. We'll tell you if you're overcomplicating it. We'd rather give you honest advice than make a sale.
We didn't stumble into this industry. We grew up in it. And everything we build reflects that — from the workflows to the support calls to the way we think about your business.
